Dunning Kruger Cut

Dunning Kruger Cut

The Dunning Kruger Shirts Are the second design / product to unveil this year. With this new project I wanted to start out by releasing my "uniform" pieces that I wear more days than not, I couldn't think of a better start than a simple jersey t-shirt. While I was in the design stages for the DK shirt I couldn't make up my mind on the hem and overall length of the garment. Half of my samples sat short hemmed to the natural waist, while half were hemmed to hip length to allow for a clean tuck of the shirt. Looking back to how I used to style my shirts in my youth I was consistently doing an off centered french tuck, letting the hem fall to one side while the other side remained tucked; I decided to play off of this styling queue by cutting the hem asymmetrically, forming a bell curve similar to that of the Dunning Kruger Effect.
